I’m Sarah. Reader of books, lover of chocolate, keeper of our home. I’m also a boy-mom, wife to Zach, and a loyal friend. Most days you’ll find me being a preschool teacher, studying for my graduate degree or cooking dinner while my boys play a loud game of baseball in the backyard. If you lived nearby, I’d invite you over to sit on the porch and chat about life over a steaming mug of tea.

A few years ago, my marriage went through the roughest of rough times and, in God’s grace, we made it out on the other side with our relationship intact and our faith deepened. I journaled throughout that season and then found myself starting a blog and now here I am, seven years later, sharing our story of HOPE and forgiveness and all the things in my book, There is Always Hope.

This is really encouraging! I have been through some very bumpy times in my marriage and it is so hard to consider it joy...Thank you for the hope that it is worth it.

This really shook me and I can’t explain why because I don’t know you, but maybe because we are the same age and have 3 kids it felt personal. Your words though are solid truth! What an amazing God we serve.

As Sarah pours out her heart and shares her life-altering story, she weaves in Biblical
stories making them relatable to the modern day believer. She shares how putting her faith solely in Jesus leads her to finding true Hope as her world crashed around her. If you have felt like you were not moving in the right direction or not quick enough, this is a must read. Sarah has a gift for the written word and heart for those who are hurting. I have had the privilege of treasuring her friendship for over 15 years and walking this road alongside her.

Oh, what a beautiful reminder that we are all weak and in need of a Savior—one who offers us hope for our broken hearts and broken pieces. Thank you for sharing your inspiration. May God continue to give you hope for your journey.
